The settings for Windows 7 are kept inside the ‘registry database’, which is where this new operating system stores all the settings for your PC. The registry is home to a variety of settings which your computer needs every time it loads up. The problem here is that if any of these settings are damaged, then it’s going to take Windows longer to read them, making it run slower & slower.
Corrupt & damaged settings is a big problem which even the most advanced of Windows 7 computers cannot avoid. And its the cause of the most slow systems in the World. Have you ever wondered why many computers seem to run slower over time? It’s because every time you use your computer, an increasing amount of computer settings are being damaged and corrupted, making Windows unable to process the ones it needs whenever it needs them. This is the main reason why Windows 7 runs slow. But luckily, the trick to fix these errors is very simple.
To fix most slow Windows 7 PC’s, you need to fix any of the damaged settings from inside the registry database. This can be done manually, by opening up a program called “RegEdit.exe” from the Windows directory. However, there are literally so many registry settings on the typical Windows 7 system that even Bill Gates could not manually fix the settings of your PC. Instead, you should try and use a tool called a “registry cleaner”. This is a software program which installs on your computer and then scans the registry database for any erroneous settings that are in there. You can use these tools to speed up Windows 7, as they work smoothly and reliably to fix most of the errors on your system.
