What are some new terms that people have made up recently which are unnecessary, or in some cases just completely wrong and inaccurate. Can you think of a few?
I can think of a couple right now.
“analog” or “analog photography” for FILM
“bokeh” for SELECTIVE FOCUS
And of course, there’s our favorite…using the proper name of a specific editing program like Adobe Photo Shop and using it as a verb…as in “Photoshopping” a picture.
Any others?

Hello folks! M planning to buy aNewLaptop, replacing my4yr old NEONotebook, 1.3ghz pentiumM?
which s becoming sluggish, day by day, and crashed more often…I need a Laptop that s faster… can easily run multi-taskng jobs, effotlessly in a synch… can play light & modern 3D games…for photo editing, etc. aside from doing d BASICS…Likewise, a LAPPY dat s modern, w/moderately powerful SpecsI (considerng myBudget s P50k only)…Which Ican use 4-5yrs from now, w/out becoming easily outmoded, in terms of processor Speed…Budgetwise, M contemplating of buying either- ASUS K52JR Core i3 350M or an ACER Aspire 4740G-33250MN Core i3 330M! Which ONE Should I buy? And s futuristically BETTER ?
The major difference between those two PCs is the video card. That is only important for gaming.
The Asus has a Mobility Radeon HD 5470, which is significantly better than the Acer’s GeForce 310M. However, neither graphic solution is up to playing intensely graphic games. Either laptop can handle World of Warcraft decently, but won’t run Crysis at playable speeds.
Since the Asus also has the slightly better processor, I’d go for that one.
