While you are learning your subject, apply to any good printing shops. They always need good grphic artists and that is where you will get experience.
Why?…. Because you are obliged to do all types of editing. As for finding jobs, the printing industry will bring you a solid experience and will open doors because, you never who walks through the door and ask for printing.
Photoshop CS4 or Elements 7?
I wanted to buy a program to edit/retouch photos and wanted to know if the price difference for CS4 is worth it. I don’t do any graphic design or video editing. I’m just looking for something to do a good job of editing and retouching digital photographs. Thank you!
I use Elements, it is perfectly fine for photo editing and it is not a resource hog. I work for a studio and use PhotoShop there and there is little that can’t be done as well on Elements. For me, the price difference just wasn’t worth it. You can see my work and decide.
